St George's Church, Dunster - A Backblip!
Sunday was spent in the picturesque village of Dunster. The village is one of my hubby's favourite places to meander around. It has a pretty high street filled with quaint boutiques and galleries, and the village is very old and the architecture of all the houses is stunning
I was hoping to get a nice photo of the high street with the old yarn market and castle in to share with you all - but I just couldn't get the right angle, and modern life kept interfering with the shot I wanted ie wherever I went there was a car in the wrong place!
The church in the picture is beautiful inside with lovely stained glass windows, and dates back to the 15th century, although parts of it date back to the 12th and 13th century
If ever you are in the area, I would certainly recommend taking some time to wander the streets and soak up the Dunster vibe.
From where we live it also means a lovely drive with far reaching views across Exmoor National Park which also adds to the charm
We didn't end up getting home until rather late last night and by the time we sorted out everything in preparation for the return to work this morning, there was no time to blip!
Today (Monday) has mainly involved trawling through the 100's of e-mails that have been sent whilst I was out of the office last week - what can I say - I already feel like I need another holiday!
