St Mary's Priory, Runnymede

Close to where the Magna Carta was signed, in a meadow where Henry VIII allegedly met Anne Boleyn, and next to one of Britain's oldest trees, a 2.500 year old yew.

Lovely walk with Pete and Molly, who got to swim in the Thames. I was quite envious of her really - it was very hot and humid, and a quick dip would have been very refreshing. Then a pint on the way home, a quick trip into town to pick up a soldering iron, and home again.
