It's always the same at Christmas: somebody is bound to come up with the strangest present. This year it was the turn of my pal Alan to take the prize. His idea of the ideal present for Dublin Shooter was a pair of lounging trousers (that's the only term I can think of for them) which are covered in a few repeating Superman comic cells. After an uneventful day, it was time this evening for one of my visits to my friends Derek and Rita out in Ashbourne. Rather than the usual spread which Rita usually lays on at home, this evening we went out for a meal instead. Mix in Ratoath is where we went, a really nice Asian Fusion place. The food was lovely, the company was fabulous, and we had a fine old time. Back in Ashbourne, we sat around chatting until suddenly it was going on for 11.00 pm and time for me to come back home. A really enjoyable evening. Thanks a mill, guys.
