Just another day at The Plough

What a day!
This morning i got Layla ready for school and went back to bed only to be wake by sound of fire alarm. My husband went downstairs to investigate and run back screaming take the baby and get out. I grabbed Adam managed to get dressed and we got out. Standing outside for few minute and waiting for my husband to appear from the restaurant. I can tell you it was loooong few minutes ! He and another man who was awaken by alarm managed to put fire out but they inhaled lots of smoke and had to be taken to hospital for tests. They both fine :) apparently faulty air-condition started fire witch spread to wall and floor damaging most of wiring. And all that before 7:30am.
I am glad Layla had gone to school by than so she didn't have to worry
Really worrying think is that took fire brigade over 20 min to come. If not my husband and Hugo i would be probably homeless now
And it's only Monday ...
