Stover Country Park
Another hot and sunny day, I could get used to this weather. Colin came round and we decided to find somewhere with a bit of shade, but outside, to visit. Colin suggested Stover Country Park as it was a nature reserve of woods and water, with lots of footpaths, mainly under the shade of the trees, There is a Ted Hughes trail, leading from one wooden plinth to another each holding a piece of his poetry.
The walks were excellent, including an aerial walk through the tree tops, with wildlife and birds around. I took lots of photos including this one of the lake with a reflection of the blue sky and clouds above.
Later we went to Babbacombe for coffee and snacks plus a walk along the grassy front festooned with holidaymakers enjoying the sun.
I made my stock paella and sausages meal for tea. Very nice!
