Time marches on.........

...and so do timepieces! Changes in keeping track of time have altered over the years. An old family heirloom starts the procession, the fob watch, which would have looked grand in its time. Moving on to wrist watches with faces and hands to help us to be in the right place at the right time. Finally the digital alarm clock with its menacing buzz to alert me to get up. However now that I have retired this function on the clock is mainly redundant thankfully!
