Paulette

I have often posted photos of Paulette - here is the original of this one Original Paulette died on Saturday. The news was sudden and shocking. We will miss her so much. Her family told us she was in the Funerarium locally and I sensed they wanted us to go and see her there before the funeral tomorrow. There was not a soul there but a door with her name on it and Paulette was lying peacefully in this very quiet and still room. We both could have sworn she moved when we went in. And when we left we said thank you Paulette as we always did. She always replied 'Merci beaucoup pour votre visite' Not this time, but we felt it. Elle nous manquent beaucoup - toujours.

I hope she will always be looking over me like this ...
