My heroes

Finland is quite large country by area in Europe, Larger than Great Britain and Norway and Italy and a little smaller than Germany and Sweden.
But by population (5,3 millions) we are one of the smallest.
And our language is related only to Estonia.
So our artistic circles are very small. Also in photography. Almost everybody knows each other.
If you go to the opening of an exhibition in the Finnish Museum of Photography you meet half of the 10 most important photographers in Finland.
So was also tonight. I was very happy to have a blip of Ismo Hölttö and Pentti Sammallahti, who belong to the 5 most important.
Later, in a restaurant, I got Antero Takala (he is one of the 10 greatest) , whose "lifetime exhibition" was opened tonight.
Not a bad blipday?
