My Gal Sal

This is my favourite image of Sally. It really captures her spirit perfectly -- you can see intelligence in those eyes, as well as warmth and humour. I also love the way her tummy is creased because of the way she's sitting.

If this looks vaguely familiar to you, it's because I had a journal entry back in March which showed a painting given to me by a good friend. She used this photograph as a reference.

We're jetting off to Florida this morning to pick up our 5 year old grandson. We're going to spend a couple of days down south, and then bring him back to Connecticut for the rest of the week. Can't wait!
