Coffee and Castles

Today I rode over to Staufen for coffee with one of my teachers. She needed some help understanding why she was unsuccessful with a job application at an English school. Resumes here in Germany are not like at home. They list only dates, certifications and job titles. Nothing else. I showed her my updated resume with key skills, achievements etc. we also had a look at my German resume and the problems I will face without a high school certificate, despite my extensive experience in the workplace. Still, the view was nice ;)
