Brando, Haute-Corse

We got our bikes this morning and some maps of the northern cape of Corsica and we have five days to cycle round it. There is a choice of routes, some longer than others and taking us on inland diversions. But unfortunately we just discovered that French electricity plugs are different from the rest of Europe so we spend half the morning cycling around Bastia trying to acquire an adaptor. The tourist office doesn't have a clue and sends us to a mobile phone shop. No dice but we do eventually find an electrical goods store.
Finally we get out on the road in pretty warm conditions. The bikes are really good to ride and a van has transported most of our luggage. HL wants to do the most challenging route but I suggest a compromise with the intermediate one.

Around lunchtime we arrived at this little fishing village on the east. A pebble beach and the mouth of a mountain stream which reaches the sea here. The water is pretty cool.
