Fun Ahead

Sometimes it's easy to be a hero.

The grandkids are arriving on Monday for their annual summer stay with us, and it appears that they are excited about it. That makes us feel important!

Granddaughter Z has just got her own mobile phone. She's only twelve years old, but she was the last one in her class to get one -- allegedly. She phoned today to discuss the proposed schedule we'd sent. Cynthia answered the phone, and I didn't speak to Z, but I sent a text message as soon as C got off the phone and gave me her number.

This was the tail end of a string of texts. The photo is actually a video, with voice-over, explaining what needs to be done to complete the pendant she's making.

Grandson B has a woodworking project lined up and I have the materials ready. Here's what he made last year -- we finished it exactly a year ago!
