conferencing at Palais des Congrès

day one of IPSA conference at the Palais des Congrès which has some really cool art work and architecture; listened to a rather underwhelming talk of Michael Dukakis, it's not that I do not like his ideas it is just that he is uninspiring and there is too much wishful thinking; he knows the US better to expect them to accept the UN to deliver international security governance; then I went to an all-male panel on energy, enough said; but I really enjoyed the evening ceremony with a performance of Cirque du Soleil
