Lift Bridge

Out for a wander along the still partially frozen canal today with young Silverback.

Typically, just before we set off the drizzle started. And it wasn't warm either!

There were pretty few people about but we did meet a very keen angler. He had two lines laid out over the canal and was keen to tell us of the perch, carp, bream and 18lb pike that he's caught there.

An evening of curling when I got home. Managed to cling on for a draw against a very experienced team. Unfortunately our other rink went down, so overall we're out of this competition for this year.
