A day too late...

...for the Queen's Baton Relay arriving at the marina in Kirkintilloch. We arrived this evening to gorgeous sunshine and all the trappings of the occasion - yesterday! We will sail a little in the next few days (some water & canal blips to come, no doubt) but have to be back towards Glasgow by Friday to go and watch the badminton at the Emirates Stadium. Next week we are watching hockey and athletics, so a little sample of what the Commonwealth Games have to offer. Better still, friends from down south are coming up for the games, so it's a chance to catch up with a few of them too!
