Oh Shit, There Goes The Charabang

Peaches!! Went out NGS-ing today. Put the app on my phone which tells me which gardens are open within x miles of the house. Fab.

Meynell Langley Nursery, Trial Gardens and Tea shop. Cream tea? don't mind if I do.

These peaches are just a fraction of the number growing in a glasshouse only abut 3 feet wide by 40 feet long, built on to a south facing wall. The smell in there was amazing.

In other news, things I have learned, an ongoing (I hope) series:

#11476 - When doing roast potatoes and you think you've done enough, do more.

#11476 - when transferring par-boiled potatoes from the saucepan to the hot fat to make said roast potatoes, doing so while wearing a bikini is best avoided.
