The Tide is Out
We decided that the garden needed new furniture so spent the morning trawling the various outlets in the search for something suitable. We finally found something that we both could agree on in B and Q. There was a slight problem in that it couldn't be delivered and neither would it fit in the car with 3 people. (Mother-in-law had come along for the ride!.) I therefore agreed to walk 3 1/2 miles home. However, before I had even reached halfway , I received a call to say that the table was missing - we just had 6 chairs. I spent 20 minutes trying to get through to B and Q and try and negotiate a delivery before we left the following day. Nothing could be guaranteed!
Felt slightly better when I finally arrived home to find that eldest son had prepared a wonderful picnic. So we all headed off to the beach in order to make the most of our last afternoon. It was blissful. This image is of the dog beach just around the bay.
