stray

this is the stray cat that's been hanging round our house for months now. the poor thing is very skinny and it's fur is all matted. it yowls outside our door, but won't let me near it. dougal is terrified of it, so I really don't want to encourage it to stay by feeding it...I called the cats protection league and we spoke about trying to catch it and taking it to the vet to check for a chip.

they suggested putting a photo of it up in the local shop to see if anyone has lost it, hence this photo. I gave it some food so it would let me close enough to take one...he was very wary though.

poor thing...could be a really stunning cat with a bit of love.
