Of all the weekends in recent memory, this was perhaps the quietest....

.....and not just in our house. I have a feeling (formulated from inside our flat and between it and the baker's), that the town was also quiet - despite the fact that yesterday was the Christopher Street Day parade and this morning was the Kocherlball.

Presumably all the people were just not near here.

One highlight was watching a BBC 4 documentary called Folk Britannia about......well British folk music. It wasn't all Pentangle and Peter, Paul and Mary, it seems.

Oh yes, it was another scorcher.
