Grasshoppers galore

We were back at Rabbit Mountain this morning, and walked to the lookout this time. There were still huge numbers of grasshoppers around. The prairie grasses, and all the other vegetation has done so well this year that it must benefit the plant-feeding insects too.

I'll try to catch up with some comments today, but as from tomorrow we'll be travelling again, and I won't have much internet access. Hope to be back with you again in a couple of weeks or so.
