The Bishops Palace Gardens.

This is part of the beautiful gardens in the Bishops Palace at Wells. I just loved these old brick arches from a building long ago. We had a lovely day in Wells which is such a pretty City, the smallest in England too.

Farming. - Mowing for hay today as the weather looks good for a few days again. Just have to hope that we do not have any downpours! Also preparing for wholecrop tomorrow which will be made into silage.

The boys need sandwiches for the morning so I went to make them only to find that my loaf had spots of mould on! This humid damp weather had certainly produced some fast growing mould. As it was the only bread I had , just for a moment I contemplated removing the mould from the crusts.... Then I thought better not , as it will have multiplied overnight and I think the catering department may have some serous complaints!!! New bread now out of freezer ready for sandwich making first thing. Birds however have much appreciated the old bread. Nothing gets wasted here.
