A Tiny Garden in NE Wales

Frogtastic!

Lovely day in Beaumaris today at a local Antiques Fair, where I came away with this tiny brooch of a frog. I like frogs and this was a very reasonable price and the lovely seller knocked a bit off too. There were a few other things I rather liked but they were either too expensive or not priced. If you can't be bothered to price it, I can't be bothered to want it.

After the Antiques Fair we had lunch at the Red Bull Inn. Lovely lunch with highly attentive staff with the best customer service skills I've seen in a long while. After that we went for a walk along the promenade and up over the bluff for spectacular views of Puffin Island and what looked like a massive rain storm over the Great Orme and Llandudno.

Coming back into town we browsed a few shops and found the most exquisite jewellers selling handmade jewellery with the jewellers working in the background. I bought two delicate silver rings mainly because they fitted my fingers, which is highly unusual (fat fingers). I also tried on other rings which were equally awesome but I need to save a significant amount of pennies before coming back to buy them.

Back to Menai Bridge for petrol and some ice-cream and the traditional drive over Menai Bridge itself (the Telford one) and back again before heading up to Britannia Bridge (the Brunel one) for the journey home.
