A dip in the North Sea
After our gardening work and lunch, Paul and I walked through the Culbin forest (a former sand dune) to the extensive and mostly deserted white sand beach that goes from Nairn all the way around to Findhorn and beyond. We borrowed our hosts' dogs--two black labs named Zach and Millie--for a fully native experience. The beach has the best collecting rocks I've seen in a while and the water wasn't too cold. We'll go back for a longer beach stroll to see the resident seals next time.
