historical parade

Historical parade during the 17th Saxony-Anhalt-Day, a yearly festivity where we celebrate our homestate Saxony-Anhalt. This year it was held in the medieval town of Wernigerode in the Harz Mountains.
All districts of our state were represented in the parade. I especially liked the many historical societies for historical costumes and fanfare bands. I didn't envy the participants though, because it was 35°C and it must have been boiling hot under these costumes.
