Portrait of Mrs.

See across her iris in large ("L").

She's so beautiful; I took many photos with which I was pleased, but kept coming back to this simple portrait of her... My alternative is a pretty juvenile starling with its iridescent plumage starting to come through.

News from The Swan Sanctuary: the fledgling is settling in well but it looks as though it'll lose the toe. At least it is just the one toe; hopeful it'll make a full recovery otherwise. Poor fledgling.
