Dragonfly

Our last full day at the holiday house and another sunny and hot one. We went down to the local market first thing - a bigger on than usual as it was the third Friday of the month. There was the usual stalls - fresh fish, live ducks, rabbits and chickens, lots of huge ladies knickers and a mattress stall with a guy who was sure that we wanted to buy one. Good for a potter round.

We spend the rest of the day in the garden reading and enjoying the peace and quiet. We spotted an eel in the stream and stalked a very large and very vocal edible frog that was calling most of the day.

Eventually we had to start on the packing. Not too much to put together and not too much cleaning to do. We had a last swim and a meal of left overs before heading to bed.
