A long drive

We stayed for four nights at the camping site in Höfn in Hornafjörður. We had planned to continue our trip further south, but the weather forecast was not in our favour, and as we wanted to be able to actually see the landscape (not just drive through rain and fog), we decided to call it quits this time around and just go home again. So we drove the whole way from Höfn to Akureyri (a good 500 km.) and it took about 8 hours with some stopping on the way. This photo is taken as we enter Akureyri, when I suddenly realised I hadn't taken any picture the whole day.
