Water slide

Finally a cooler rainy day to give us all a break from the heat.

The down side to that is the kids cannot play outside. Well, thankfully playing in water is equally appealing to the little monkeys.

OO trekked up the giant water slide and made her way down by herself (sans panic attack). She was so pleased with herself that she kept going back up for more. Poor DH had to hike up the 3-storeys repeatedly for, I'd say, half an hour. If it wasn't because OO had burned a big hole in her bathing suit from all the sliding, she wasn't nearly ready to leave. I think DH was secretly breathing a sigh of relief there.

The bonus of such strenuous physical activity is that the kids really worked up an appetite. I didn't hear any whining at dinner. Everyone finished their plate and then some.

This is when we decided to reward them with some Menchies fro-yo. Yummmmm.
