Noah's Ark

Did parkrun this morning, the first time for ages. I did my fastest time this year but still only managed 4th in my age group - most other parkruns I'd have been at least 2nd , but then most other parkruns don't have such a high proportion of older runners.
Then we headed over Cairn o'Mount in thick mist and then torrential rain, the sort of rain when you think it can't rain any harder and then it does! We were going to Aboyne to meet with Mr Rat's nephew and fiancée, whom he is marrying next month, in order to see the church and work out how they would do things. They treated us to a very nice lunch and then it was back in slightly better weather.
