Heavy Rain and Moderate Sprinkles
Today the temperature reached an unseasonably warm 54F/12C. And it rained. Two inches (5cm). On top of the seven or eight (20cm) inches of snow and ice already on the ground. Water has no place to go when if falls and melts in quantities like that.
After sloshing our way to and from school and ballet class, we came home, got into dry clothes, and baked cupcakes for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
On a side note, I see that my daughter is finally beginning to use moderation in applying sprinkles to her baked goods.
