Kerimäki Church

The Kerimäki Church in Kerimäki, Finland is the largest wooden church in the world.
The church has a length of 45 meters, a width 42 m, a height of 37 m and a seating caoacity of more than 3000. Altogether there can be 5000 people at a time in the church.
It has rumoured that the size of the church was the result of a miscalculation when it built. Supposedly the architect was working in centrimeters, which the builder misunderstood to be inches, which are 2,5 times larger!
