Cucamelons

Another blip from the greenhouse. Cucamelons were one of the unusual crops which I tried to grow last year, they didn't survive the winter and I was lucky enough to see a free offer for these plants on Twitter. They are doing very well and I have eaten a couple. They taste a little like sour cucumber but not unpleasant - I think they look very sweet and hope that such strong plants will survive this coming winter.

It's rained on and off all day, I've been making jewellery and MrD has enjoyed a relaxing day of wood turning in his shed. We've been watching the golf from Hoylake and the F1 qualifiers from Germany.
