Poorly boy

We had a disturbed night due to the insane weather - thunder storms and torrential rain for hours.

This morning Henry didn't want any breakfast and it because obvious over a couple of hours that he wasn't very well. He's had a high temperature and keeps complaining about feeling sick. I wonder if he's got an ear infection as whenever I take his temperature on the left side he gets really upset. He won't let me look in it with my otoscope so I guess we'll carry on with the calpol for now.

We popped out to the park briefly on the way back from the post office but were only there for 5 minutes before the clouds rolled in again and the storm started. It looked quite sinister like the bit in Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix (I think) where the dementors come in the park.

We spent the afternoon making a volcano (empty bottle, bicarb plus vinegar and red food colouring) then we made a card one for the dinosaur land we're building in an old cardboard box.
