Vulcan on a wet afternoon!

I was trying to think of a title and then, and I don't know why, but 'Seance on a wet afternoon' came to my mind. Seemed to fit with the day but instead of a seance I was sat up in the Vulcan cockpit waiting for visitors to arrive.

I really wasn't expecting it to be busy today as there was torrential showers, lightning and thunder this morning, and for some of the afternoon as well. The public did not let us down, they started to turn up before 1030 and there was a steady stream. I asked one family group what made them come out on such an awful day and I got the response that they were thinking of somewhere to go that would be indoors and the Jet Age Museum was where they chose. It also got the children away from computer games and TV, good enough for me :-)
