Pineapple lily and bluebottle

Today we visited a delightful garden called Nant y Bedd, also known as The Garden in the Forest (although that's not a translation of the Welsh, which seems to mean something like the stream of the grave...) It was full of wonderful plants and a zillion places to sit. Also 2 friendly cats, ducks, chickens and young pigs. Superlative cake as well. A most relaxing afternoon. We even sat and did a spot of writing.
