Busy Flying Insects

The weather today was close and warm and the Combe de Barasson was awash with stunning alpine flowers which were attracting myriads of butterflies and other exotic flying insects. We felt absolutely privileged as we made our solitary way to our peak, Monte Paglietta, to be greeted by a departing eagle as we crested the summit ridge. The clouds added atmosphere and we felt good to be alive in such our special, favourite place.
