A community of Clydes!

I was up and away early this morning to help with the preparations for the baton arriving in the village.

It was a fantastic day that even the rain couldn't spoil.

There were quite a lot of volunteers doing all sorts of things from refereeing, to smoothie making to measuring the welly wang! I was face painting and managed to churn out quite a few Clydes before the baton turned up. I can only imagine the rain would have turned most of them into scary versions of the Joker (as if they weren't scary enough to begin with!)

Time for feet up now. Hubby's making dinner and I'm just about to have a glass of chilled white. Lovely.
