Paris Plages

Today the city beach (Paris Plages) opened for the coming weeks. Same as other years, the road has been transformed into a beach stretch and as the picture shows, was taken over quickly by people.

In the background (hardly visible, see larger) is a small replica from the Eiffel tower, built up by 324 of the famous bistro chairs, as the company Fermob is celebrating its 125th anniversary.
