Wild Honey.

If as I did, you started Blipping on New Years Day this year, it is our 200th Blipday today. Conblipulations to us!

Alcester our nearest little town a couple of miles away has declared itself A Bee Friendly Town. This shows the members of the Court Leet testing the mead and ale and declaring it fit for consumption at this morning's launch event in the pouring rain.

I like the sound of this bee friendly thing because as far as I can make out, it involves allowing your garden to run to a weed strewn wilderness haven for wildlife full of nettles and wild flowers, while quaffing large quantities of mead ( made with honey) and Waggledance ale(which contains a smidgen of honey, to balance the flavour). Also you have to leave bundles of sticks lying around for bees to live in, and not use chemicals to spray your plants.

Now I know I'm not a lazy and reluctant gardener, just being bee friendly!
