Strangers on the beach

We have had a wonderful day so far.

A walk at the shore where we saw these two wandering on the sand, then onto more socialisation training with Sigyn the Inquisitive. We walked around about and through the streets of Stromness and on the way back we had both dogs off the lead, walking at heel and mostly ignoring passers by. Just amazing. We also stopped for a BLT and coffee, all the while with very well behaved dogs just resting and not making a fuss. Again amazing. Sigyn is a quick learner - a month ago she would have been a right pain.

We then stopped off at the Ring of Brodgar and tested their obedience again. A few coach loads of tourists were milling around and we again walked both dogs off lead and at heel alongside and past hoards of people. PW is really pleased with Sigyn.

Now home and preparing for the Birthday Emmy to come over for ginner. We will be making pizza bases and concocting pizza toppings. Lashings of gin to aid creativity...and appetite.
