wings flickering

I was surprised by a brief, but quite beautiful, snow storm today. Large flakes floating from the sky, they type that only really sticks among the pine needles. With the field across the way we have quite the bird population and they kept taking flight, mingling with the flakes.

It reminded me of a day long ago.
