Rhubarb and Custard
Every time I see these roses they remind me of one of my favourite childhood puddings, stewed rhubarb and custard. I loved it and in those days we did not leave a "bite" in the rhubarb or as I call it being under cooked or half raw we stewed it into a mush so you could stir it into your custard and make patterns. Absolute bliss.
However the down side to this is that I now cannot get the stupid theme song to the children's TV program of the same name out of my head. This will really start to annoy me as it sounds like nails on a blackboard.
