Pretty Petals?

I was cutting off the dying rose heads and collected the petals to put in a dish as you can see here.
I thought I had removed all the very small beetles before I took the petals inside, but I was wrong!
There were about thirty of them trying to get out of the windows. I sucked them up with our very low power hand vacuum thing then released them. They seemed fine as they flew away, although they probably had had a bit of a fright.
A busy day ahead.
We have family coming in the afternoon and friends coming for a meal at night.
I'm making the main course, a vegetarian paella thing.
