Babies

Don't know how long they will survive. The nest is in the hedge opposite our bathroom window and the outside tap. Everytime we move around there the mother flees with feathers flying in all directions. She had a nest there last year & abandoned it before the eggs hatched.

There are bussards nesting in the woods behind us, This evening one was flying around lower than normal & sat down on the top of one of te nearer trees. I took a photo, but with a normal lens one can one see it's a bird if one knows it's a bird.

C came home from work with sore eyes. poor thing looks under the weather.
