Swim anyone?
Angie, the dogs and Sultan on their way out for an early morning ride before it got too hot - we are having 30°C+ temperatures.
Feeling fine today, spending the day in the garden. In the evening Dr Bulldog, Jürgen, came by to replace a part of a hydraulic pipe on the tractor that was leaking. Leaking is somewhat understated. On Monday, Oliver had spotted the leak when I gave the children a quick ride on the tractor. Everytime I set the front loader in action, oil was squirting out under around 1500 psi pressure. The leak was underneath the tractor so I didn't see it, a tiny pin prick hole, not visible to the naked eye.
Had sent Jürgen a "help" email and photo on Tuesday night but said it wasn't urgent as I could turn off the hydraulic line involved. He phoned on Wednesday to say he would come by some day in the near future and so it was quite a surprise when he arrived this evening and set about cutting and bending pipes. We then spent a very pleasant hour or so chatting about everything except football - Jürgen didn't even know Germany were in the final until the morning after.
Thanks Jürgen for doing the work so quickly.
