Red Sky at Night

The weather forecast for tomorrow is not looking good. That could bode ill for our planned Camera Club field trip to the Grovetown Lagoon. I was hoping for a frosty start and nice sunny blue skies for some decent landscape photography. So it was with mixed feelings that I viewed the brilliant red sunset sky from our front garden. The diagonally shaped clouds were ablaze with brilliant colour and apart from thinking “there is my blip” my mind sprang to that old saying…. “Red sky at night, shepherd’s delight.” I am hoping that old snippet of folk lore holds true…….
