Chilling out

Morning started with more TV on the terrace, watching the German Football Team arriving back in Germany. Was tough on Steffi and Oliver as the Team bus drove from Berin airport to Steffi's workplace where they got out for a snack and clean up before boarding an open top truck to take them the last bit to the celebration site at the Brandenburg Gate. If they had been there would almost certainly have been able to get autographs. Together with the TV coverage, we kept getting photos sent via mobile phone photos from their colleagues.

Celebrations took us through to early afternoon and then they set off for Austria. Oliver asked what we would be doing in the afternoon, suggesting we do some "chilling". So that's what we did. In the evening we got the news that they had arrived safely.
