........Hidden - Under Driftwood


 Another frosty morning followed by a beautiful sunny winter’s day.

We packed a lunch and headed back to Pah Point, Riwaka to photograph in different lighting and different tides to our blips of yesterday.

It was warm sitting on a log eating lunch. Not a breath of wind and quiet other than birds feeding and calling at the edge of tidal pools.

Returning along the beach I found these fungi, semi hidden under a piece of log at high water mark.
I carefully rolled the log over to photograph them, carefully returning the log to its original position afterwards.
I can’t believe I am still finding fungi at this time of the year. What a season it has been!
