WINTER COLOUR:

What a weird day ! Early this morning it looked as though we were in for a real storm, then it skirted round the hills & gave us a miss. Then shortly after midday the sun popped out - ever so briefly - & then popped back in. The winter flowering heathers are such a joy at this time of the year; here is another bed, on the opposite side of the garden to yesterday's. So, you have colour & the storm; little sun, & loads of cold air.
