Contrast

A day of contrasts. The local market was in the midst of a "yard sale", a small part shown here. All manner of wares were on display in a very haphazard way, the smoke in the lower middle is from someone's wood fired barbecue. The aisles were barely wide enough for one person to walk down, yet families were strolling and kids were playing while business went on around them. We then took a quick trip to Morelia for some big box shopping, visiting Home Depot, Sams Club, Office Depot and Costco. It was like we had returned to the United States, in fact it was a shock to hear announcements in Spanish (which interrupted the English language music) while wandering through Office Depot. Everything was organized, the aisles were wide and prices were clear, so so different than the market experience of this morning.
